Senior High Small Group – March 14th
All 9th-12th graders are invited to explore what faith means for our lives today in an informal setting with other IPC youth. We’ll eat good food, watch a thought-provoking video and share our thoughts and questions. Our next gathering will be on Sunday, March 14th, from 6-8 p.m. at the Fulp-Eickstaedts’. Senior High Inter-Faith Dinner @ Pulcinella – Sunday, March 21st
Join with senior highs from Temple Rodef Shalom, St. Luke Catholic Church, and other faith communities at Pulcinella Restaurant in McLean for a great dinner and to learn about issues facing immigrants in our community and what we can do to help. Our featured speaker is from the organization Just Neighbors, which “provides immigration legal services to low-income immigrants and refugees of all faiths and nationalities.” All 9th-12th graders and friends are encouraged to join us for this very special event on Sunday, March 21st, 6-8 p.m. @ Pulcinella Restaurant (6852 Old Dominion Dr., McLean). Benefit Dinner for the Yellow Ribbon Fund
The Sr. High Sunday School Class is having a dinner to benefit the Yellow Ribbon Fund on Saturday April 10 at Immanuel from 6-9pm . The catered dinner will include entertainment by classical and jazz musicians from Langley High School and the Potomac School as well as a guest speaker -- Mark E. Robbins, Executive Director from the Yellow Ribbon Fund. The Community Service and Action Committee provided a grant of $500 to IPC Youth to design and implement a service activity to benefit their greater community. The Sr. Highs chose to support the Yellow Ribbon Fund which provides transportation and housing for the families of wounded service member at Walter Reed and Bethesda Naval Hospital.
