Adult Education

Adult Education at Immanuel seeks to help adults grow in their spiritual relationship with God and to equip them for discipleship in Jesus name. Believing that adults learn in many different ways, we seek to offer a variety of topics, leaders, and approaches to enhance both personal and spiritual growth.

Classes on Sunday mornings meet from 10:10-11:05 a.m. in both the Meeting House and the Church House. Three to four classes are offered each module, generally running five or six weeks in length. Some of these classes, like our Sunday Morning Bible Study and Current Issues classes are on-going throughout the year. Other more topical classes run for the length of a given module. New Members classes are also scheduled during the year as part of our Sunday morning offerings.

Special classes of varying duration are offered during the week and topical forums are periodically offered on Sunday mornings. One day workshops and weekend spiritual retreats are also offered on a yearly basis. Please check this website and our newsletter for up-to-date information on these study and growth opportunities.
